Pricing for land package only, starts at $2,985 per person for double occupancy, single occupancy starts at $3,985. ​This is a trip for persons 18 and over only. Trip insurance is not included, but it is highly recommended. 

 

Call or fill out the contact form to get exact quote from your city of origin, for questions, to make a payment, or to start a payment plan. Space is limited. A $1000 deposit ($500 is non-refundable) is due by November 15 that will be applied to your trip total. If you miss the November 15 deposit deadline, please reach out to discuss payment options. Final payments are due by February 6. There is no research/admin fee for this trip.

Thursday, April 1

Depart from your home airport on Thursday, April 1 and take an overnight flight to Vietnam. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City either the next evening or Saturday morning. Flights are booked on your own, but we can assist if needed. Cost for flights is not included.

Saturday, April 3

Land in Ho Chin Minh City and take a private transfer to the 5-star hotel. Check-in and get settled, and enjoy free time the rest of the afternoon. Meet up for a welcome dinner with the group (meal included, alcohol is not included). Experience an introduction to Vietnamese cuisine and the journey ahead.

Sunday, April 4

Venture to the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the underground network functioned. Enjoy lunch before returning to the hotel for a proper break. Later, discover contemporary Saigon by open-top vintage-style jeep, ending at a rooftop bar for a cocktail and city views.

Monday, April 5

Fly to Da Nang, then continue privately to Palm Garden Resort. The remainder of the day is deliberately free for the pool, beach, spa or a relaxed meal overlooking the sea.

Day Three

Tuesday, April 6

Explore Hoi An through its story of commerce and cultural exchange, considering Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and European influences. Visit selected heritage buildings, join a hands-on lantern-making workshop, then remain in town into the evening for independent time before a group dinner.

Wednesday, April 7

Today is entirely free. Sleep in, spend time by the pool or beach, arrange a spa treatment, play golf, explore independently or simply enjoy the resort. Optional experiences can be arranged, but nothing is compulsory.

Day Five
Coastal Neighborhood
Thursday, April 8

Travel north across the Hai Van Pass before lunch in Hue. Visit the Imperial City, focusing on the architecture and organisation of the former capital, court life and the Nguyen emperors. After a short hotel break, experience Hue at a slower pace on a cyclo night tour, concluding with dinner.

Friday, April 9

Travel to Kim Long, historically associated with royal families, mandarins and garden residences. Explore the relationship between garden-house architecture, family life, landscaping and local traditions. Enjoy lunch before flying from Hue to Hanoi. The evening is free.

Day Seven

Saturday, April 10

Leave Hanoi for the coast and board Bhaya Cruise for a three-day, two-night journey through Ha Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy lunch while sailing among limestone islands; afternoon activities may include kayaking, a cave or island visit, swimming or time to enjoy the scenery. Return onboard for sunset and dinner.

Sunday, April 11

A full day allows the cruise to reach areas one-night passengers rarely experience. Depending on the vessel, enjoy a smaller day boat, kayaking, a village or cave visit, swimming and additional time on the water, balanced with time to relax onboard.

Monday, April 12

Enjoy the final morning aboard the cruise before returning privately to Hanoi. The remainder of the day is entirely free for the Old Quarter, a spa treatment, shopping, cafés or selected restaurants and bars.

Day Ten

Tuesday, April 13

Visit the Temple of Literature, then Hanoi’s historic core and selected Old Quarter streets. Consider the relationship between older commercial traditions and contemporary city life. Enjoy lunch, free time, then reconvene for a farewell dinner.

Wednesday, April 14

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Pack your bags and take private transfers to Noi Bai International Airport are arranged according to individual flight schedules. Catch your flight to your home base.
